Borteye Applerh replaces dismissed Kofi Jumah at GIHOC
President John Dramani Mahama has appointed Jones Borteye Applerh as the acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of GIHOC Distilleries Company Limited, effective January 21, 2025, to replace the dismissed Kofi Jumah.
The appointment, made in accordance with Article 195(1) of the 1992 Constitution, follows the revocation of the appointment of the previous CEO, Maxwell Kofi Jumah.
Mr. Applerh is expected to lead the state-owned distillery, focusing on its strategic growth and operational efficiency to maintain its key role in Ghana’s beverage manufacturing sector.
