Ghana, Dubai deepens investment ties at business forum
Ghana and Dubai are strengthening strategic investment relations, with new opportunities emerging across key sectors including gold, agribusiness, real estate, energy, fintech, logistics, and Artificial Intelligence.
Speaking at the Dubai–Ghana Business Connect Forum, the Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC), Simon Madjie, positioned Ghana as Dubai’s strategic gateway to West Africa and the wider African market under the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) framework.
He highlighted Ghana’s political stability, ongoing business reforms, skilled labour force, and rising investor confidence as major advantages for international businesses seeking to expand into the African continent.
According to him, Ghana remains committed to creating an enabling environment that attracts sustainable investment and fosters long-term economic partnerships.
The forum formed part of broader efforts to deepen economic cooperation between Ghana and the United Arab Emirates, while positioning Ghana as a leading hub for trade and investment in the region.
