A lot of sexually charged scenes are edited out of Kumawood films: Mercy Asiedu
According to Mercy Asiedu, Kumawood filmmakers usually take out sexually charged scenes from their movies.
She spoke to Nana Romeo on Accra 100.5 FM’s midmorning programme Ayekoo Ayekoo.
"Our main goal is to educate," she said. "Don’t forget it’s not only for adults, children are also involved. Due to this, we edit out some things so that it will not negatively affect a child watching."
"Behind the scenes, we kiss a lot in the movies,” the Kumawood star revealed.
Mercy Asiedu also indicated there was no movie role she had ever turned down.
Furthermore, she disclosed TV star Akrobeto was her favourite male actor of all time.
