Popular Ghanaian dancer and choreographer Afronita has added an academic milestone to her growing list of achievements, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Administration (Banking and Finance) from the University of Ghana (UG).

The celebrated performer, born Danita Akosua Adomaah Yeboah, shared the news with fans on Facebook alongside her graduation photos, captioning the moment with gratitude and faith.

“GOD DID [feeling loved emoji] Education and Talent works hand in hand! Discipline. Determination. Sacrifice. And God every step of the way,” she wrote.

Her message reflected both her Christian faith and the perseverance that carried her through years of balancing academics with the demanding schedule of rehearsals, performances and professional commitments.

The 2024 Britiain's Got Talent bronze winner acknowledged that juggling school and work was not easy, describing the experience as rigorous but rewarding. She credited her success to a combination of divine guidance and personal effort, emphasising discipline, determination and sacrifice as the principles that sustained her throughout the journey.

Beyond the celebration, the UG Class of 2026 graduate's achievement sends a powerful message to young creatives who may feel pressured to choose between education and their talents. By completing her degree while actively building her dance career, Afronita has demonstrated that the two can complement each other rather than compete.

She noted that education sharpens talent just as talent can open doors to learning opportunities, a perspective that challenges the notion that fame or early success makes formal schooling unnecessary.

As she steps into a new chapter, how the AfroKids Dance Academy founder uses degree and dance will greatly distinguish her.
