Abla Dzifa Gomashie: MoTCCA calls on Emirates to promote Ghana aboard flights
The Minister for Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, Abla Dzifa Gomashie, has called on Emirates Airlines to help promote Ghana’s rich cultural heritage and natural attractions on its flights as part of efforts to increase international tourist arrivals.
The appeal was made during a courtesy visit by the newly appointed Country Manager of Emirates Airlines, Salem Almana, to the ministry.
The meeting focused on strengthening collaboration between the airline and the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts (MoTCCA).
Minister Gomashie commended Emirates Airlines for its professionalism, strong global presence, and reputation in the aviation industry, noting that the airline remains a strategic partner in advancing Ghana’s tourism development agenda.
She encouraged Emirates to use its onboard platforms to showcase Ghana’s tourism offerings, including its culture, heritage sites, and natural attractions, to passengers across its global network.
In response, Mr Almana reaffirmed Emirates’ commitment to working closely with the ministry to promote Ghana as a preferred travel destination and to enhance the overall travel experience for passengers.
Both parties expressed confidence that closer collaboration would help strengthen Ghana’s tourism profile both locally and internationally.
