Bishop Bonegas urges Ghanaians to address spiritual roots for prosperity
Bishop Bonegas, founder of Great Fire Pentecostal International Ministry, has emphasised the importance of addressing spiritual matters as a prerequisite for achieving success and prosperity in life.
Speaking on the 'Ayekoo Ayekoo' mid-morning programme on Accra 100.5 FM, hosted by Docta Kay Nie, and aired on 26th February, Bishop Bonegas explained that life exists in two dimensions — spiritual and physical — and that true prosperity begins in the spiritual realm before it can manifest in the physical world.
He cited Luke 19:27, highlighting the connection between spiritual alignment and tangible success.
“When life is not going well, you need to examine your spiritual background,” Bishop Bonegas said.
“This involves understanding the spirits that accompany you.
Prosperity begins when you address issues in the spiritual realm.”
He clarified the distinction between spiritual counselling and background inquiries.
Counselling, he explained, involves the individual sharing personal matters with a pastor.
In contrast, “asking about your background” involves the pastor actively researching and revealing spiritual influences affecting the person.
Bishop Bonegas shared that he often works on cases weeks in advance, helping individuals trace the spiritual causes of their challenges and guiding them toward breakthroughs.
He encouraged listeners to seek clarity about their spiritual background as a step toward personal and financial growth.
