Interior Minister Mohammed Muntaka Mubarak announces release date for security services medical results
The government has confirmed that the results of the medical examinations for applicants in the ongoing security services recruitment exercise will be released next week.
The Minister for the Interior, Mohammed Muntaka Mubarak, disclosed that more than 105,000 applicants qualified for the medical phase of the process. This figure significantly exceeds the initial target of 5,000 recruits originally earmarked for final enlistment.
Speaking at President John Mahama’s “Resetting Ghana” citizens engagement event in the Savannah Region on Saturday, May 23, Mubarak stated that the government is collaborating with regional Members of Parliament to maintain fairness in the final selection.
He added that applicants who clear the medical screenings will receive fair consideration as part of an expanded recruitment drive.
The Interior Minister further revealed that following an intervention by the President with the Minister of Finance, the government has agreed to double the final intake of personnel for the security services.
