La-Dade Kotopon Constituency MP spreads joy with 2025 Christmas celebration
On Boxing Day, December 26, 2025, the Dade Kotopon Constituency Member of Parliament in the Greater Accra Region, Rita Odoley Sowah, hosted its annual Christmas party, bringing together children, Persons with Disabilities, widows, and the elderly for a festive celebration of love, hope, and community spirit.
The event marked the 19th consecutive year of this tradition of compassion and service.
Attendees were treated to ample food and drinks, and gift bags were distributed to all participants as tokens of care and appreciation.
Organisers said the true reward was witnessing the smiles and joy on the faces of constituents, reflecting the impact of the initiative on the community.
The celebration was made possible through the support of numerous corporate partners and stakeholders, including Unique Floral, Labadi Beach Hotel, La Palm Royal Beach Hotel, Shornaa Island Park, EPP Books, Binatone Ghana, KGL, the Ghana Free Zones Board, GoEnergy, and the Ghana Shippers’ Authority.
Volunteers, party executives, and community members also played a key role in ensuring the event’s success.
Organisers noted that participation has grown steadily over the years, reinforcing the importance of unity and collective effort in uplifting the community.
As the constituency looks ahead to 2026, they pledged to deepen service, strengthen community bonds, and continue improving the welfare of all residents.
The event concluded with a message of hope for the New Year, wishing constituents good health, peace, and abundant opportunities.
2026 has been themed as “Our Year of Blessings and Great Achievements,” signalling a continued commitment to positive impact in Dade Kotopon.
