S/R: Fire tender overturns at fire outbreak scene in Buipe
A fire tender has been involved in a road accident while responding to an above-ground storage tank (AST) fire incident at Buipe, Savannah Region.
The circumstances surrounding the accident have not yet been determined.
Videos circulating on social media showed the fire tender lying on its side at the scene as onlookers gathered.
Residents who rushed to the area assisted in turning the vehicle upright.
Five firefighters who were on board were subsequently transported to the Buipe Government Hospital to receive medical care.

Following the accident, the fire continued to rage, with residents attempting to manage the situation in the absence of the disabled fire tender.
Officials from the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) were also present at the scene, supporting emergency response efforts and providing assistance to affected residents.
