The High Court has ordered the freezing of five bank accounts and four landed properties belonging to former Executive Secretary of the Inter-Ministerial Coordinating Committee on Decentralisation (IMCCoD), Dennis 'Miracles' Aboagye, as part of an ongoing investigation by the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO).

The order, issued on Monday, August 3, 2026, temporarily bars any transactions involving the identified bank accounts and prohibits the sale, transfer, mortgage or disposal of the four landed properties until further orders of the court.

The directive forms part of EOCO's efforts to preserve assets that may be relevant to its ongoing investigations into alleged financial and procurement-related irregularities.

Miracles Aboagye is under investigation over allegations of financial and procurement-related irregularities involving approximately GH¢55 million during his tenure as Executive Secretary of the IMCCoD.

EOCO is examining transactions and procurement processes undertaken during the period under investigation to determine whether any financial impropriety occurred.

Dennis Miracles Aboagye has denied all the allegations levelled against him, maintaining that he has committed no wrongdoing.

He was granted bail in the sum of GH¢50 million with three sureties, pending the outcome of the investigations.
