EN/R: Police arrest two suspects for possession of narcotic drug
The Eastern North Regional Police Command has arrested two suspects for possessing narcotic drugs.
Yaw Ntoso, and Perpetual Ayitey, the suspects, were arrested at Amankwakrom on the main Agordeke-Donkorkrom motor road, Thursday, November 13, 2025.
Police said preliminary investigations revealed that a snap check team intercepted a KIA Bongo truck driven by Yaw Ntoso, and upon a thorough search conducted by officers three white sacks containing 135 compressed slabs of dried leaves suspected to be cannabis sativa, a narcotic drug, wrapped in yellowish cellotapes and 21 oval-shaped parcels of similar substances were discovered.

The suspects are currently in custody, assisting investigations and will be put before the court, police noted.
