Dr Sa-ad Iddrisu donates sandals, exercise books and school uniforms to NWOGU D/A JHS
Dr Sa-ad Iddrisu has donated more than 100 pairs of sandals, more than 400 exercise books, pens and school uniforms to pupils of NWOGU D/A Junior High School in the Kumbungu District of the Northern Region.
The donation was made on Thursday, October 15, 2026, as part of efforts to support pupils and promote access to education in the area.
The items were presented on behalf of Dr Sa-ad by his personal assistant, Mr Nurudeen Haruna, to the school, which is located in the Gupanarigu Circuit of the Kumbungu District.
The donation is expected to help address some of the basic educational needs of the pupils, particularly by providing essential learning materials and schoolwear to support their participation in academic activities.
The provision of sandals, exercise books and school uniforms is also expected to ease some of the financial burdens on parents and guardians while encouraging pupils to attend school and concentrate on their studies.
The gesture highlights the importance of community support and individual contributions towards improving educational outcomes and creating a conducive learning environment for schoolchildren.
NWOGU D/A Junior High School is situated in the Gupanarigu Circuit, under the Kumbungu District and Kumbungu Constituency.
