GES engages teacher unions over concerns about 2025 promotion
The Ghana Education Service (GES) has engaged the leadership of teacher unions over concerns raised by teachers regarding the substantive dates applicable to the 2025 promotion.
The engagement was held on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, following concerns raised by teachers about the dates applicable to the promotion exercise.
According to the GES, management has noted the concerns and will engage further with the unions to look into the issue.
The service said it remains committed to reaching an amicable settlement of the matter.
It also appealed to teachers for their usual support and cooperation.
