Haruna Iddrisu represents Ghana at World Education Forum in London

Minister of Education, Mr. Haruna Iddrisu, is currently in London representing the Republic of Ghana at the prestigious World Education Forum, a global platform bringing together education ministers, policymakers, and stakeholders from around the world.
The forum, which runs from May 20 to 23, serves as a key venue for dialogue on educational reform, innovation, and international collaboration.
Mr. Iddrisu is expected to share Ghana’s progress in improving access to quality education, expanding technical and vocational training, and leveraging technology in schools.
Speaking ahead of the event, Mr Iddrisu emphasised Ghana’s commitment to building a resilient and inclusive education system that equips young people with the skills needed for the 21st-century economy.
“We are proud to showcase Ghana’s strides in education and to learn from global best practices that can help us shape a more prosperous and equitable future for our youth,” he said.
The forum is being attended by representatives from over 100 countries and will feature high-level discussions on topics such as education financing, digital learning, and teacher development.
Mr. Iddrisu’s participation reaffirms Ghana’s active role in the global education agenda and the government’s resolve to position education as a key driver of national development
