GA/R: Bishop Abraham Aidoo donates polytank to Holyland–New Apollonia community
Residents of Holyland–New Apollonia in the Kpone Katamanso Constituency in the Greater Accra Region have received a new polytank following a donation by Bishop Abraham Aidoo, the aspiring independent parliamentary candidate to help address challenges associated with water storage in the community.
The intervention forms part of Bishop Aidoo’s community-focused initiatives aimed at responding to practical needs identified by residents.
Access to reliable water remains a concern in some growing communities within Kpone Katamanso, particularly in areas where supply can be inconsistent.
The provision of the polytank is therefore expected to help residents store water and improve access for households.
The initiative underscores the importance of addressing basic community needs as part of broader local development efforts.
Water is essential for drinking, cooking, bathing, cleaning and maintaining healthy living conditions, making reliable water storage an important component of community wellbeing.
Bishop Aidoo has in recent months supported other community-oriented initiatives in Kpone Katamanso, including sanitation activities, women’s capacity-building programmes and other grassroots interventions.
The latest donation adds water infrastructure to those efforts, with Holyland–New Apollonia becoming the latest community to benefit.
Community stakeholders have been encouraged to work together to identify pressing challenges and pursue sustainable solutions to improve living conditions across the constituency.
As Kpone Katamanso continues to expand, the demand for basic amenities such as water, roads, sanitation, electricity, healthcare and educational infrastructure is also increasing.
The donation is consequently being seen as a practical response to an immediate community need and a contribution towards improving the welfare of residents.
Clean water, healthy communities and sustainable local development, organisers said, remain central to efforts to build stronger communities across Kpone Katamanso.
