The Administrator of the Ghana Medical Trust Fund has, ahead of her 49th birthday, made a significant donation to Saint John the Divine Anglican Parish in Nsawam, with a focus on promoting dignity, education and the future of young people. 

The donation comprised cash of GHS50,000 cedis, 10,000 packs of sanitary pads, 5,000 stationery pouches, 5,000 pens and 5,000 exercise books, which are expected to support young people, particularly schoolgirls, in their educational journey.

The initiative forms part of the administrator's birthday celebration and reflects her commitment to giving back to the community and investing in the wellbeing and development of the younger generation.

Speaking on the motivation behind the gesture, the administrator emphasised the importance of supporting young people with basic necessities that can have a meaningful impact on their education, confidence and overall wellbeing.

The provision of sanitary pads is particularly aimed at helping girls manage their menstrual health with dignity and reducing challenges that may interfere with their participation in school. The educational materials, meanwhile, are intended to equip students with essential resources for learning.

The donation to Saint John the Divine Anglican Parish in Nsawam underscores the belief that birthday celebrations can extend beyond personal milestones to create opportunities to positively impact the lives of others.

The initiative is anchored on three key values; dignity, education and the future, recognizing that providing young people with the resources they need today can contribute to a more confident, educated and empowered generation tomorrow.
