NSA boss submit nomination form to contest NDC Ashanti Regional Organiser
The Ashanti Regional Director of the National Service Authority (NSA), Emmanuel Fynn Reagan, has formally submitted his nomination forms to contest the Ashanti Regional Organiser position for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), promising to dismantle the opposition party’s electoral dominance in the region.
Speaking to supporters and journalists after submitting his documents at the party’s regional secretariat, Reagan vowed that, under his leadership, the traditional perception of the Ashanti Region as an impregnable stronghold of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) would be overturned.
”I promise the good delegates of the NDC that when they give me the mandate, the issue of stronghold will be a thing of the past,” Mr Reagan stated, adding, “the NDC will make a lot of inroads in Ashanti region. And nobody should dream that the NDC cannot win certain seats in Ashanti region”.
Doubled as the regional Deputy Youth Organiser, he emphasised that breaking the ruling party’s hold of the region requires viable leadership, integrity, and well-executed political strategy.
He urged the party members to dismiss the notion that certain constituencies within the region are out of reach for the NDC.
”The party needs people who are viable, people who are respected, people who have integrity. That is what the party needs in Ashanti region,” he said, stressing “we can win [seats] if we put in place proper strategies and plans. Those strategies and plans will work for us”.
Expressing confidence in his campaign’s outlook, the NSA boss declared that his election as NDC Regional Organiser would usher in a new political dynamic across the region.
”Surely, surely, surely we will find Emmanuel Reagan as the regional organiser. Ashanti will turn green,” he asserted, referring to the NDC’s color.
