New dawn for GRASAG as Jimmy Mawuse Adangbe takes over

The National Graduate Students Association of Ghana (GRASAG) handing over ceremony was held at the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA), on March 29, 2025, as the Association begins a new chapter for the Graduate Students Association of Ghana (GRASAG).
Jimmy Mawuse Adangbe, the newly elected National GRASAG President, took office with a clear vision for the future.
In his inaugural speech, Adangbe expressed his gratitude to the outgoing executives and called for unity among GRASAG members.
"We cannot do it alone. We need your support, ideas, and steadfast commitment to making GRASAG greater," Adangbe said.
Adangbe also highlighted the importance of transparency, accountability, and good governance in GRASAG's operations.
He pledged to encourage a culture of participatory decision-making, where every member feels valued and heard.
As Adangbe takes the reins, he is guided by the inspiring words of Nelson Mandela and Dr. Kwame Nkrumah: "We face neither East nor West; we face forward."
With a renewed commitment to serving the best interests of GRASAG and its members, Adangbe is poised to lead the Association toward a brighter future
