Presidential staffer Sammy Ayeh picks forms to contest NDC Deputy Communications Officer position
Presidential staffer Dr. Sammy Ayeh has picked nomination forms to contest for the position of Deputy National Communications Officer of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC).
Dr. Ayeh says his decision is aimed at helping communicate the party’s vision more effectively and connecting its message with the aspirations of Ghanaians.
In a statement announcing his intention to contest the position, he said he was offering himself to strengthen the party’s communication machinery and improve its engagement with the public.
“I offer myself to help communicate our vision clearly and connect our message with the aspirations of the people,” he stated.
Dr. Ayeh expressed gratitude to the NDC’s National Communications Officer, lawyer Sammy Gyamfi, for his leadership, mentorship and confidence in him, which, he said, has played a significant role in shaping his journey.
“I am deeply grateful to Lawyer Sammy Gyamfi, our able National Communications Officer, on whose shoulders I have risen. His exceptional leadership, mentorship and confidence in me have shaped my journey and strengthened my resolve to serve.”
Outlining his priorities, Dr. Ayeh said he intends to build on the existing foundation by strengthening research-driven communication, empowering grassroots communicators and enhancing the party’s strategic media engagement.
He believes these measures will help improve the consistency and effectiveness of the NDC’s communication efforts while ensuring that the party’s message resonates with the public.
“I seek to build on this foundation by strengthening research-driven communication, empowering grassroots communicators and enhancing strategic media engagement,” he added.
Dr. Ayeh appealed to party members and delegates to support his bid to become the next Deputy National Communications Officer saying “I humbly ask for your support”.
