Stolen Mamprobi Hospital baby found, Minister announces support
The Minister for Gender, Naa Momo Lartey, has announced that the child stolen from Mamprobi Hospital yesterday has been recovered.
Speaking on behalf of President John Dramani Mahama and the Ministry of Gender, she expressed relief and gratitude for the swift action of the authorities.
The Minister, accompanied by MPs from Ablekuma South, West, and Odododiodio, visited the mother and child, presenting a token of support and essential items.
She revealed that President Mahama has approved the Ministry's request to cover the medical expenses of the mother and baby.
"This is a testament to the government's commitment to protecting its citizens, especially the vulnerable," Minister Lartey said. The Ministry's intervention brings hope and relief to the affected family, and the public applauds the efforts of the authorities in resolving the case.
