Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, has declared the party's internal election camps officially dissolved following the successful conclusion of its National Delegates Conference and urged all members to unite ahead of the 2028 general elections.

Addressing delegates at the end of the National Delegates Conference held at the Babayara Sports Studium in Kumasi, Dr. Bawumia congratulated the newly elected leadership team led by the new National Chairman, John Boadu, and emphasised that the outcome is a collective victory for the party rather than individual contestants.

"There is no time to waste," Dr Bawumia told the gathering, adding that "tonight, elections are over. All the camps will dissolve, and let us have one NPP camp to win 2028".

He assured the defeated aspirants that they would be fully integrated into the strategy and execution of the upcoming campaign, noting that the mandate given by delegates is clear, thus, for the party to return to power.

Acknowledging the task ahead, the flagbearer cautioned that taking power in 2028 will require significant effort, calling on the party faithful to work harder than they did in 2000 and 2016.
