According to a notice of poll issued by the party’s General Secretary, three aspirants have been duly nominated to contest in the upcoming internal elections.
The candidates are:
Bernard Bediako Baidoo

The poll will take place across the Akwatia Constituency between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. on the day of the election.
The winner of the primary will represent the NDC in the 2024 parliamentary elections, as the party intensifies its efforts to reclaim the Akwatia seat from the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
Party officials have urged delegates to conduct the polls in a peaceful, transparent, and democratic manner.
