GFA President Kurt Okraku extends Eid al-Adha wishes to Muslims worldwide
Ghana Football Association (GFA) President Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku has extended Eid al-Adha wishes to Muslims in Ghana and across the world.
In a message issued on behalf of the GFA and the football fraternity, Simeon-Okraku said the occasion reflects values of faith, obedience and sacrifice.
He noted that Eid al-Adha also represents devotion, humility, compassion and service to others, while encouraging generosity and support for people in need.
“As families and communities come together in celebration, may the spirit of this Eid inspire greater unity, peace, and mutual respect among all Ghanaians,” he said.
He added that the celebration should strengthen unity and reinforce the collective commitment to building a caring and inclusive society.
The GFA President also extended his wishes to players, coaches, referees, administrators, supporters and members of the football community observing the festival.
“I wish you and your loved ones a joyous, peaceful, and blessed Eid. Eid Mubarak!” he said.
Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku is also the 2nd Vice-President of the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
