The event features exhibitors from 15 countries, including China, Côte d'Ivoire, Egypt, Germany, Ghana, India, Kenya, the Netherlands, Nigeria, South Africa, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Switzerland, Thailand, and the United Arab Emirates.
These exhibitors are showcasing cutting-edge technologies, products, and solutions tailored to the Ghanaian and wider West African markets.
The Ambassador of Germany to Ghana, H.E. Frederik Landshöft, emphasised the importance of local innovation and collaboration in shaping the future of Africa's industrial and agricultural transformation.
He urged participants to view the fair as a platform for meaningful partnerships and shared innovation, saying, "Let us use this fair not just to showcase, but to co-create.
Let us share ideas, build bridges, and launch partnerships that last."
The event features a high-level conference programme that convenes policymakers, technology providers, and agribusiness professionals to exchange expertise, build partnerships, and drive sustainable growth across the agricultural value chain.
The Director for Research at the Ministry of Food and Agriculture (MoFA), Mr. George Amoah, reaffirmed the government's commitment to promoting agribusiness development and value addition in Ghana's agricultural sector.
He emphasised the Ministry's focus on developing agribusiness, improving product shelf life, and enhancing value addition to agricultural exports to increase national revenue.
Mr. Amoah announced that the Ministry is finalising a National Agribusiness Policy designed to boost productivity, strengthen coordination among sector players, and ensure the sustainable development of agro-industries.
He urged participants to leverage the fair as a platform for collaboration and innovation that will drive sustainable job creation and economic transformation through agribusiness development.
