The Amen Amen Institute, led by Daniel Reynolds, has donated GHS 10,000 to the Ministry of Food and Agriculture (MOFA) to support the World Food Day programme.

The institute also donated foodstuffs from its farms to support the Ministry's mission.

The World Food Day programme, themed "Hand in Hand for Better Food and a Better Future" emphasises the importance of working together to end hunger, promote peace, and build a future where no one is left behind.

The Founder and Leader of the Amen Amen Institute, Amen Reynolds Amen, highlighted that food is more than just nourishment, but a bridge to peace.

The Amen Amen Institute has been a long-standing partner of the United Nations in promoting the World Food Day programme.

The Institute's donation is a demonstration of its commitment to working hand in hand with the Ministry of Food and Agriculture, the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO), and the World Food Programme (WFP) to promote food security and peace in Ghana and around the world.

The Institute's member, Daniel Reynolds, extended blessings and good wishes to the Nation of Ghana, the Head of State, and all ruling authorities.

He prayed for their long life, prosperity, everlasting peace, and development.

He also wished blessings, good luck, and prosperity to all workers and students in Ghana.

The Amen Amen Institute's donation and support for the World Food Day programme is a testament to its commitment to working together with partners to achieve a common goal of ending hunger and promoting peace.

By working hand in hand, the Institute believes that a brighter tomorrow can be achieved for all.

Director of Finance and Administration at the Ministry of Food and Agriculture, Gilbert Xorcanyo Ampeit, who received the items on behalf of the Ministry, emphasised the importance of Ghanaians taking charge of their food production.

He encouraged households to engage in backyard gardening and other agricultural activities to improve food security.

The Ministry has rolled out initiatives such as the "Akukungtitikiti" programme to support small-scale farmers and promote sustainable agriculture.

The Ministry acknowledged the support of partners, including the Amen Amen Institute, which has been a key sponsor of the World Food Day celebration.

The Institute's contribution has helped to create awareness and promote action towards food security and sustainable agriculture.

The Deputy Minister of Food and Agriculture, who was unable to attend the event, sent a message emphasising the importance of food security and sustainable agriculture.

He encouraged Ghanaians to take advantage of the opportunities available to improve food production and reduce hunger.
