Ghana Air Traffic Safety Engineers Association suspends planned strike

                                The Ghana Air Traffic Safety Engineers Association (GhATSEA) has announced the suspension of its planned strike action, effective October 30, 2025.
The decision follows constructive engagement with the Ghana Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) governing board and management, according to a press release issued on October 29, 2025.
In the statement signed by Engr. David Annan Mensah, President of GhATSEA, the Association, expressed appreciation for the efforts made by all stakeholders during the discussions.
"We appreciate the efforts made by all stakeholders during the discussions and remain optimistic that the ongoing engagements will lead to a lasting resolution of all outstanding issues," the release read.
GhATSEA reassured the public, partners, and aviation stakeholders of its continued commitment to upholding the highest standards of safety and professionalism in the provision of air navigation services across the country.
The Association extended gratitude to the Ag. Director-General Rev. Stephen Wilfred Arthur and Ag. Deputy Director-General Technical Mr. Theophilus Aryee Ago, for their commitment to the discussions.
GhATSEA also thanked the public and the media for their patience and understanding during this period, reaffirming its dedication to ensuring the continued safe and efficient operation of Ghana's airspaces.
The suspension of the strike action is expected to bring relief to air travel operations in Ghana, ensuring uninterrupted air navigation services.
