TDC Ghana warns rent defaulters in Tema

TDC Ghana Limited has issued a stern notice to all business owners, industrial operators, and tenants within the Tema acquisition area, warning of strict enforcement actions against rent defaulters as it launches a special rent collection exercise from July 2 to July 31, 2025.
The notice, which affects leaseholders and occupants of houses, shops, offices, and lands under TDC’s jurisdiction, urges all those with outstanding rent arrears to settle their obligations within the stated period.
TDC has outlined that failure to comply will result in punitive measures, including the closure and sealing off of premises, as well as the initiation of legal recovery procedures.
“To avoid disruption of your business operations or loss of access to your premises, visit the TDC Head Office at Community 1, Tema, to pay all outstanding arrears and collect your official receipt,” the statement emphasised.
The company has called on stakeholders to treat the directive with the utmost urgency to prevent reputational damage and operational disruptions, urging prompt compliance during the month-long exercise.
For further information, affected parties are encouraged to contact TDC’s 24-hour call centre on 0303 202 731.
