Hotel Catering, Tourism Training Institute records 193 graduates for 2025

The Hotel Catering, Tourism Training Institute (HOTCATT), under the auspices of the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, has graduated 193 students.
The graduation ceremony took place at the National Theatre of Ghana, Accra, on Thursday, October 2, 2025, chaired by Dr Kwesi Eyison of Pacific Group of Companies.
Graduates received certificates for completing various programmes including; Kitchen Skills, Housekeeping, Event Management, Front Office Skills, Restaurant Management, Food and Beverage.
The Deputy Minister of Tourism, Yusef Issaka Jaja; the CEO of Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA), Maame Efua Houadjeto; the CEO of Ghana Tourism Development Company Limited (GTDC), Kobby Mensah; the President of Ghana Hotels Association, Dr Ackah Nyamike Jnr; and the President of Ghana Tourism Federation (GHATOF), Charles Adu Gyamfi, graced the graduation ceremony.
The President of the Tour Guides Association Sam Bans Ash; the Secretary General of Pan African Writers Association, Dr Wale Okediran; Hospitality Consultant and Executive Director of National Theatre Anita Ottenhof, were also present.
GTA CEO Maame Efua Houadjeto charged the HOTCATT graduates to be “custodians of Ghana’s hospitality brand,“ championing professionalism, innovation, and sustainability in the industry.
“The future of Ghana’s tourism is in your hands — go shine!“ she emphasised.
