Nkoranzamanhene confirms Nana Atta Fosu Ababio as Asaamanhene

Nana Kwame Baffoe IV, the Paramount Chief of the Nkoranza Traditional Area, and Nana Yaa Sarpomaa III, the Queen-Mother, in a customary rite held on May 6, 2025, officially confirmed Nana Atta Fosu Ababio as the Asaamanhene in the Nkoranza Traditional Area of the Bono East Region.
During the ceremony, Nana Kwame Baffoe IV praised Nana Atta Fosu Ababio's hard work and stewardship in the community, expressing confidence in his leadership abilities.
The Paramount Chief advised the family of Nana Atta Fosu Ababio to show him the maximum respect he deserves and warned that anyone who refuses to do so will face consequences.
Nana Kwame Baffoe IV charged Nana Atta Fosu Ababio to lead with diligence and work towards unifying his family.
"I already know you can help your people, but I encourage you to continue to excel," he stated.
"I have officially endorsed you to my traditional council and to be part of my traditional leaders," he added.
He therefore urged Nana Atta Fosu Ababio to consult him for any information needed for his duties.
In response, Nana Atta Fosu Ababio expressed gratitude to Nana Kwame Baffoe IV and Nana Yaa Sarpomaa III for the opportunity to serve in the traditional area.
He pledged to work hard and fulfil the Paramount Chief's expectations.
"I thank Nana Kwame Baffoe IV for accepting me as the choice of my progeny, and I will use my human relationship skills and hard work to serve my people well.
I believe I can do the job as an ideal candidate for the position," he stated.
Nana Atta Fosu Ababio's optimism about his leadership skills encouraged others to look forward to his contributions to the community.
