Acting NPA CEO engages stakeholders on Eastern regional tour

The Acting Chief Executive Officer of the National Petroleum Authority (NPA), Godwin Kudzo Tameklo, has continued his nationwide familiarization tour with a visit to the Eastern Region.
During his visit on Tuesday, March 25, 2024, Mr. Tameklo held discussions with the Eastern Regional Security Council, chaired by Regional Minister Rita Akosua Adjei Awatey.
The discussions focused on strategies to strengthen collaboration among the Authority’s key stakeholders in the region.
Mr. Tameklo emphasized the crucial role of security agencies in combating illicit fuel activities and ensuring smooth operations within the petroleum sector.
He acknowledged their significant contributions and called for their continued support in tackling these challenges.
Following his engagement with the security council, he visited the Eastern Regional Office of the NPA, where he interacted with staff to gain first-hand insights into their operations.
The visit forms part of Mr. Tameklo’s broader initiative to familiarize himself with the Authority’s regional activities and foster closer engagement with stakeholders nationwide.
