Energy Ministry reports power outage in Gomoa Fetteh due to a faulty 33kV feeder

The Ministry of Energy and Green Transition has announced a power outage in Gomoa Fetteh in the Central Region, following a fault detected on a 33kV feeder line supplying electricity to the area.
In a statement issued on Sunday, the Ministry described the incident as a “localised fault” and assured residents that technical teams are currently working to isolate and rectify the issue to restore power as quickly as possible.
“The Ministry is aware of the outage affecting Gomoa Fetteh due to a fault on the 33kV feeder.
Our teams are on the ground working diligently to isolate the fault and restore supply,” the statement read.
Officials urged residents to remain calm and assured the public of their commitment to resolving the issue swiftly while minimising inconvenience to affected households and businesses.
The Ministry further reaffirmed its dedication to maintaining a stable and reliable power supply across the country as part of Ghana’s broader energy and green transition goals.
