GA/R: Gender Minister monitors School Feeding Programme in Weija-Gbawe

The Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection, Dr. Agnes Naa Momo Lartey, has visited selected schools in the Weija-Gbawe Municipality of the Greater Accra Region to monitor the implementation of the Ghana School Feeding Programme (GSFP).
During the visit, Dr. Lartey interacted with students, teachers, and caterers, assessing the quality of meals provided and the overall impact of the programme on pupils’ welfare.
She emphasised the government’s commitment to ensuring that schoolchildren receive nutritious meals to enhance learning outcomes and promote healthy growth.
The Minister also commended caterers for their efforts and urged them to maintain high standards in meal preparation as part of the programme’s goal of improving education through nutrition.
