Otumfuo Osei Tutu II Foundation awards nursing scholarships to 48 brilliant but needy students in Birim North

In a remarkable show of commitment to education and healthcare, the Otumfuo Osei Tutu II Educational Foundation has awarded scholarships to 48 academically gifted but financially challenged students from the Birim North Municipality in the Eastern Region to pursue nursing education.
The scholarship package, which spans three years, will cover a significant portion of the students' educational expenses, allowing them to focus fully on their studies without financial hindrance.
The Municipal Chief Executive for Birim North, Mr. Hakeem Antwi Abdul, expressed deep appreciation to the Otumfuo Foundation for the life-changing intervention.
Speaking at the presentation ceremony, he encouraged the beneficiaries to remain focused and make the most of the opportunity.
“This is not just a scholarship—it is an investment in your future and in the future of healthcare in our municipality.
I urge you to study hard and give back to your communities,” the MCE stated.
The recipients, visibly overjoyed, conveyed their gratitude to the Otumfuo Educational Foundation for the timely support.
They pledged to excel in their studies and return as qualified nurses to serve and uplift their communities.
