Ghana Gas completes planned maintenance ahead of schedule

The maintenance team of Ghana National Gas Limited Company has successfully completed scheduled maintenance works ahead of time, handing over the facility to the operational unit for normal activities to resume.
The works, which were initially expected to take 14 days as estimated by the Ministry of Energy and Green Transition, were completed in record time.
Key tasks carried out included:
Servicing of the Heat Medium System
Calibration of Safety Systems
Overhaul of the Transmission Compressor
Chief Executive Officer, Ms. Judith Adjobah Blay, commended the technical and maintenance teams for their dedication and teamwork.
She noted that their commitment and collaboration were instrumental in completing the project efficiently and ahead of schedule.
Acting General Manager of Engineering and Maintenance, Mr. Maxwell Kali, confirmed that the plant is expected to stabilise and begin receiving the expected volumes of gas within hours.
Similarly, Mr. Sampson Doe, Acting General Manager of Operations, expressed optimism about smooth operations in the coming days, following the successful completion of the maintenance exercise.
