Nsawam-Adoagyiri Municipal Assembly unveils DRIP equipment
The Member of Parliament for Nsawam-Adoagyiri Constituency in the Eastern Region,Mr Frank Annoh-Dompreh, joined the management and staff of the Nsawam-Adoagyiri Municipal Assembly to unveil new equipment allocated to the municipality under the District Road Improvement Programme (DRIP).
The colorful ceremony was held in Chinto, a suburb within the municipality.
Addressing the gathering, Mr. Annoh-Dompreh expressed his gratitude to Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia for initiating the programme, pledging to work closely with the municipal Assembly to ensure the equipment is put to maximum use for the benefit of the community.
Additionally, he donated 35 brandnew HP laptops to NAVA Basic School to support the students in their studies.
The Municipal Chief Executive for Nsawam-Adoagyiri, Mr. Emmanuel Owusu Arthur, expressed his excitement over the new equipment, highlighting the many benefits the municipality stands to gain from this initiative.
Speaking as the guest of honour, the CEO of the Ghana Library Authority, Mr. Hayford Siaw, urged attendees to vote for Vice President Dr. Bawumia and Mr. Annoh-Dompreh, emphasisesMr Frank the importance of continued support for such government interventions.
The event was attended by local chiefs from the Nsawam-Adoagyiri Traditional Council, municipal Assembly staff, Assembly Members, executives of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), party supporters, and residents from the municipality.
