Opanyin Kwame Wadie celebrates birthday with donation to Nkwatia Orphanage Home
The father of the Kwahu Nkwatia Nkosuohene, Opanyin Kwame Wadie, marked his birthday with a donation to the Nkwatia Bless the Children Orphanage Home.
The items donated included assorted drinks, toiletries, educational materials, school bags, bags of rice, bags of sugar, bottled water, gallons of cooking oil, canned fish, canned tomatoes and an undisclosed amount of money.
The presentation ceremony was attended by members of the community and representatives of the Kabaka Foundation, who joined the children to celebrate the occasion.

Speaking on behalf of the birthday celebrant, the Executive Director of Kabaka Foundation, Henry Larbi, said the donation formed part of efforts to support the less privileged and give back to society.
According to him, caring for vulnerable children should be a shared responsibility, adding that society must continue to show love and support to children in need.
Henry Larbi also advised the children to remain disciplined, respectful and committed to their education despite the challenges they may encounter.
He encouraged them to take their studies seriously and work hard toward achieving their goals and becoming responsible citizens in the future.
The children expressed appreciation after receiving the items.

Receiving the donation on behalf of the orphanage home, Madam Grace Yeboah thanked Opanyin Kwame Wadie for remembering the children during his birthday celebration.
She said the donation would support the feeding, education and general welfare of the children at the home.
Madam Yeboah also appealed to philanthropists, corporate organisations, churches and other groups to support the orphanage, citing challenges related to finances, feeding, educational materials and other essential needs required for the care of the children.
