#2024Polls: NPP sets up committee to probe party's defeat
The New Patriotic Party (NPP) at a National Council meeting on Thursday, January
2, 2025, constituted an Election Review Committee to conduct a post-mortem on the
party's participation and performance in the recently concluded 2024 presidential and parliamentary elections and to make appropriate recommendations.
The former Speaker of Parliament, Rt. Hon. Prof. Mike Oquaye will chair the
Committee.

N.P.P: DEVELOPMENT IN FREEDOM
The Committee is expected to engage all Party stakeholders and the general public
on its terms of reference and submit a comprehensive report to the Party within three
(3) months.
The report of the committee shall set the stage for the party's reflection, rebuilding,
and restructuring efforts in order to bounce back stronger for the next general
elections.
The Party implores all stakeholders, particularly executives and members of the
Party to cooperate with the Review Committee and give the members all the needed
support and assistance.
In a related development, the National Council has, pursuant to Article 14(2) of the
NPP Constitution, selected leaders of the Party's parliamentary group for the 9th
