Dec. polls: No politician is worth the sacrifice of your blood - Gideon Boako advises youth

Dr Gideon Boako, the Spokesperson for Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia and the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) Parliamentary Candidate for the Tano North Constituency in the Bono Region has urged the youth to refrain from engaging in political violence ahead and during the December 7 polls.
Speaking at a peace walk and talk event in Duayaw Nkwanta, Dr Boako emphasised that no politician, regardless of party or status, is worth risking one's life or shedding blood over elections.
The event, held on Saturday, November 16th, was organised by the Tano North local council of churches to promote peace and unity as the country prepares for the 2024 elections.
The gathering drew participation from various political parties, community leaders, and traditional chiefs, reflecting a collective commitment to a peaceful electoral process.
In his address, Dr Boako highlighted the importance of maintaining harmony and encouraged the youth to prioritise their well-being over partisan interests.
He reminded them that politicians come and go, but the safety and future of the community should remain paramount.
“No politician is worth the sacrifice of your blood,” he stated, urging young people to engage constructively in the political process without violence.
