Dr. Zanetor Agyemang-Rawlings sworn in as member of Pan-African Parliament

Dr. Zanetor Agyemang-Rawlings, the Member of Parliament for the Klottey Korley Constituency in the Greater Accra Region, has officially been sworn in as a Member of the Pan-African Parliament (PAP), a legislative body of the African Union.
Speaking after her swearing-in, Dr. Agyemang-Rawlings expressed her commitment to engaging in meaningful dialogue and legislative work on the continental stage.
“I look forward to contributing meaningfully to continental dialogue and legislative action, and to building bridges with my colleagues from across Africa,” she said.
She also called for sustained support from the African Union, emphasising the importance of equipping both the Pan-African Parliament and national legislatures like Ghana’s Parliament with the necessary resources.
“I hope that moving forward, the African Union will continue to support the Pan-African Parliament and the Parliament of Ghana with the necessary resources in order for us to execute our mandate effectively and efficiently,” she added.
