Energy Minister urges continued commitment in 2026
The Minister for Energy and Green Transition, Mr. John Abdulai Jinapor, has paid a working visit to all departments and offices within the Ministry on his first official day of work, using the opportunity to interact with staff and commend them for their dedication.
During the tour, Mr. Jinapor expressed his appreciation to management and staff for what he described as their tremendous effort throughout 2025, noting that the energy sector had faced significant challenges when the current administration assumed office.
According to the Minister, the collective commitment and professionalism of staff played a critical role in achieving what he termed a remarkable turnaround in the sector, despite the difficult circumstances inherited.
“This progress is a testament to your professionalism and unwavering belief in our shared vision, under the leadership of His Excellency President John Dramani Mahama,” Mr. Jinapor said.
He encouraged staff to remain focused and committed in 2026, urging them to give their best as the Ministry works to sustain and build on the gains already achieved.
