Parliament has officially reconstituted Ghana’s delegation to the Pan-African Parliament (PAP), reaffirming the country’s commitment to continental cooperation and legislative diplomacy within the African Union framework.

The newly appointed team will be led by Mr. Bernard Ahiafor, who assumes the role of Leader of the delegation.

He will be joined by Members of Parliament Mr Rockson-Nelson Etse Kwami Dafeamekpor, Mr. Collins Dauda, Madam Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings, and Mr Frank Annoh-Dompreh as members of the delegation.

Additionally, Mr Patrick Yaw Boamah has been designated as an observer to the Pan-African legislative body.

The reconstitution comes as part of Ghana’s routine parliamentary processes to ensure adequate representation and continuity in its contributions to the Pan-African Parliament.

The PAP serves as a platform for African legislators to deliberate on key issues affecting the continent and to promote unity, development, and democratic governance among member states.

Ghana’s representation reflects a blend of experience and youthful dynamism, with members drawn from across the political divide to represent the nation’s interests on the continental stage.
