SWAG appoints sports enthusiast Dr Adu Sarkodie as Patron

The Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG) has appointed Dr. Emmanuel Adu Sarkodie, the Group Chief Executive of CDH Financial Holdings Limited as its patron.
The astute businessman who plays tennis and loves football has not only been a pillars of the association, but has over the years supported many sports disciplines aiding in the development and promotion of sports.
Mr. Kwabena Yeboah, President of SWAG, together with other board members engaged Dr. Adu Sarkodie on his new role as patron of the association.
Mr. Yeboah said the decision to bestow the position on Dr. Sarkodie was taken in consultation with the counsel of patrons of the Association who recounted Dr. Sarkodie's impact on the Ghanaian economy and sports.
He further described the Chief Executive as one who had much potential to help contribute to the growth of SWAG and sports in general.
Mr. Adu Sarkodie, a long standing sponsor of the SWAG Awards thanked SWAG for the honour and pledged his commitment to support the association in its assignment to promote and develop sports in Ghana.
