Absa Bank Ghana Relocates Head Office to New Ridge Headquarters
Absa Bank Ghana has relocated its head office to its new headquarters, Absa Place, on Independence Avenue in Ridge, Accra.
The bank announced the move in messages sent to customers via SMS, email, letters and its Facebook page, informing them that its head office is now located at No. 64 Independence Avenue. Customers who require branch services have been directed to the Absa Place branch.
"Our new facility shares an entry point with the National Insurance Commission, before the Latter-day Saints' Church Accra Temple. Kindly visit the Absa Place branch for your banking needs," the bank said.
The relocation brings the bank's corporate operations from its former High Street head office, where it had been based for more than 100 years, to a newly built headquarters.
The new facility is already operational, although it has not yet been officially commissioned.
Located in Ridge, the headquarters is expected to bring together the bank's operations at a single location while continuing to serve customers through its branch network.
Absa Bank Ghana said further details on the official commissioning of Absa Place will be announced at a later date.
