The Chief of Staff, Mr Julius Debrah, has congratulated the newly sworn-in President and National Council Members of the Association of Ghana Industries (AGI), pledging deeper collaboration between government and the private sector to advance Ghana’s industrialisation agenda.

Mr Debrah delivered the message at the AGI Investiture Dinner held on Wednesday, where he conveyed warm congratulations on behalf of President John Dramani Mahama to the new leadership as they assume office.

“On behalf of H.E. John Dramani Mahama, I extend warm wishes to the new leadership as they take up this important mandate,” he said.

He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to working closely with AGI and the wider business community to strengthen Ghana’s business environment, improve competitiveness and drive industrial and economic transformation.

According to the Chief of Staff, effective collaboration between government and industry remains critical to job creation, value addition and sustainable economic growth.

Mr Debrah also wished the new AGI leadership well in their tenure and expressed confidence that the Association would continue to play a pivotal role in shaping policies that support local industry.

The investiture brought together industry leaders, policymakers and other stakeholders, highlighting the importance of partnership in achieving Ghana’s long-term development goals.
