The Minister for Energy and Green Transition, John Abdulai Jinapor, is expected to address participants at the Ghana–UK Investment Summit 2026 on the theme, “Exploring Ghana’s Energy Mix – Investment Opportunities in the Energy Sector.”

The summit, taking place in London, forms part of efforts by the government to strengthen economic ties between Ghana and the United Kingdom while attracting foreign direct investment into key sectors of the economy.

Dr. Jinapor is expected to highlight investment opportunities across Ghana’s petroleum, power, renewable energy, and emerging energy technology sectors as the government pursues its broader economic transformation agenda.

According to the Minister, the government’s “Reset Agenda” is helping to restore investor confidence in Ghana’s energy sector by improving reliability, strengthening energy security, and creating an enabling environment for both local and international investment.

The Energy Minister noted that the government remains committed to positioning Ghana as a competitive regional energy hub capable of supporting industrialisation, exports, and sustainable economic growth.

He also expressed optimism about engaging with investors, development partners, and industry stakeholders on the future of Ghana’s energy sector and the country’s long-term energy transition strategy.

The Ghana–UK Investment Summit 2026 has brought together policymakers, business leaders, investors, and entrepreneurs to explore investment opportunities and deepen economic cooperation between Ghana and the United Kingdom.
