GIPC CEO participates in West African Business Summit to boost regional trade
The Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC), Simon Madjie, has participated in the 2026 Summit of the Federation of West African Chambers of Commerce and Industry.
The summit, hosted by the Ghana National Chamber of Commerce and Industry under the patronage of John Dramani Mahama, brought together chamber leaders, government officials, and business executives from across the ECOWAS sub-region.
Discussions at the summit focused on strengthening regional trade and investment flows, improving logistics efficiency, enhancing the competitiveness of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs), advancing youth entrepreneurship, and unlocking opportunities under the African Continental Free Trade Area.
Mr. Madjie reaffirmed GIPC’s commitment to deepening collaboration with regional partners and supporting initiatives aimed at building a more integrated and investment-ready West African economy.
He emphasized the importance of partnerships in driving sustainable growth and positioning the region as a vibrant hub for business and investment.
