Maiden AGROTECH Fair 2026 to showcase Ghana’s agricultural technology and drive agro-industrial growth
Ghana is set to host the maiden Ghana Agricultural and Agro-Processing Industrial Technology Fair (AGROTECH Fair 2026), a flagship event aimed at promoting locally manufactured agricultural machinery, agro-processing equipment and innovative technologies to boost the country’s agro-industrial development.
The fair will serve as a national platform to spotlight Ghana-made solutions across the agricultural value chain, highlighting advances in mechanisation, processing and modern farming technologies designed to improve productivity and competitiveness.
Organisers, namelythe Ministry of Trade and Agribusiness and Ghana Exim Bank, say the event will bring together a broad range of stakeholders, including manufacturers, technology developers, farmers, fishers, processors, exporters, investors and policymakers.
The gathering is expected to foster collaboration, facilitate knowledge sharing and create partnerships that address practical challenges within the agriculture and agro-processing sectors.
AGROTECH Fair 2026 is also designed to attract investment, stimulate innovation and support the country’s broader agenda of industrialisation, sustainable growth and job creation.
By promoting home-grown technologies and strengthening linkages between producers and markets, the fair is expected to play a key role in accelerating Ghana’s transition toward a more modern and resilient agricultural economy, the orgainsers concluded
