The 2026 edition of the Ghana International Petroleum Conference (GhiPCon) is scheduled to take place from July 16 to 17, bringing together industry experts, policymakers and investors to deliberate on the future of Ghana’s downstream petroleum sector.

The conference, GhiPCon 2026, will focus on building a resilient downstream petroleum industry anchored on sound policy, innovation and strategic investment to drive sustainable growth.

The event is being organised under the auspices of the Ministry of Energy and Green Transition, Ghana in collaboration with key industry stakeholders, including the National Petroleum Authority, the Chamber of Oil Marketing Companies and the Ghana Chamber of Bulk Oil Distributors.

Organisers say the conference will provide a global platform for dialogue on critical issues affecting the downstream petroleum sector, including regulatory reforms, investment opportunities and the role of innovation in strengthening energy security.

Participants are expected from across the petroleum value chain, including government agencies, private sector operators, investors and international experts.

Registration for the conference is currently open, with stakeholders encouraged to secure their participation ahead of the event
