New Juaben North: 30 farmers receive 6000 palm seedlings

The New Juaben North Municipal Chief Executive, Mr Samuel Adongo, has distributed six thousand (6000) palm seedlings to thirty (30) farmers within the Municipality as part of efforts to promote agriculture and local farming. 

The initiative is aimed at boosting palm oil production and improving the livelihoods of beneficiaries. 

During the distribution, Mr Adongo encouraged the farmers to make good use of the seedlings to increase productivity and contribute to the local economy. 

He emphasised that the Assembly is committed to supporting Agricultural development and ensuring food security in the Municipality. 

The farmers also expressed their gratitude, noting that the gesture would go a long way to enhance their farming activities. 

They also assured the Assembly of their readiness to properly nurture the seedlings to achieve maximum yield. 

The distribution forms part of broader interventions by the Assembly to empower farmers, create employment opportunities and promote sustainable agricultural practices within the Municipality.
