The final funeral rites of Ghanaian actress and entrepreneur Beverly Afaglo Baah are underway at the forecourt of the State House in Accra today, Saturday, August 8, 2026.

Her husband, Eugene Kwadwo Boadu Baah, popularly known as Choirmaster, was visibly emotional as Christian clergy offered farewell prayers over Beverly's casket.

Choirmaster stretched his hand over the casket during the prayers and could not hold back his tears as he joined mourners in bidding farewell to his wife.

The funeral service began at 7 AM, bringing together family members, friends, colleagues from the entertainment industry and other mourners to honour the late actress.

Beverly Afaglo, who was 42, died on May 24, 2026, after a two-year battle with cancer. She was known for her acting career and entrepreneurial venture, Traffic Shawarma.

Following the funeral service, she will be laid to rest in a private burial ceremony.

A thanksgiving service is scheduled for Sunday, August 9, at Action Chapel International in Tema at 9 AM.
